• Course Content: 6*6= 36 Classes (6 Classes per topic)

• Public Administration: Definition & Evolution; Contribution of Woodrow Wilson, Distinction between Public & Private Administration.
• Scientific Management School & Human Relations approach.
• New Public Administration & Comparattive Public Administration with special reference to Riggs.
• Major concepts: Hierarchy, Unity of Command, Span of Control, Authority, Centralization, Decentralization, Line & Staff.
• Bureaucracy: Views of Karl Marx & Max Weber.
• New public Management.
