Course Objective: To get the students acquainted with classical poetry. To give an understanding of literature, through which students will be able to appreciate the development of Sanskrit Literature. To help the students to negotiate texts independently. To expose the students to the rich & profound tradition of modern creative writing in Sanskrit, enriched by new genres of writing.
Learning Outcome: To make the students learn the of theory of chandas (metre).
