Course Objective: 1.To provide students with a comprehensive idea about the poetics. 2.Students are able to understand the structures of the Santali poem. 3. To familiarize students with the the development of Santali poetry literature. 4. Students are able to understand the poem and poetry movement in Santali literature.

Learning Outcome: The completion of the course is supposed to benefit the students in the following ways: 1. To understand the structures of Santali poems. 2. Analyse the poetics Theories of Western countries as well as India 3. It helps the students to evaluate the way socio-cultural and historical phenomena influence in Santali poem and poetry.

Course - VIII Santali Poetry Literature

(i) Introduction of Santali Poetry Literature, Meaning, Definition, Elements, Sai serma reyag anorhe – Selected 10- Poems

(ii) Introduction of Santali poets - Paowl Jujhar Saren , Sadhu Ramchand Murmu, Sarada Prasad Kisku , Thakur Prasad Murmu
