Course Objective: To inculcate the knowledge about Folklore. To discuss about different branches of Kudmali Folk literature. To discuss about the different branches of Kudmali literature.

Learning Outcome: After studying this course, the following outcomes can be achieved: The learners will gain knowledge about Folklore. They will know about different branches of Kudmali Folk literature. The learners will know about the different branches of Kudmali Literature.

Introduction of Folk Literature, Branches of Folk Literature, Folk Song, Folk Tales, Folk Drama, Idioms, Proverb, Riddles, Child Songs.

Folk Tales: Traditional Folk Tales

Folk Songs: Karam Geet, Biha Geet, Bandna/Soharai Geet, Tusu Geet, Jhumur/Jhumeir
